Dear Members and Friends:
*We will **discuss ALL the party conventions on this coming Sunday's
conference call AND the "**How to Make the Revolution**" training retreat in
Bastrop on Sunday, June 8th. And, don't forget the Bastrop event, besides
providing incredible activist training, is also to plan for a statewide INDY
convention on Sept. 6 -- in prep for the fall election AND the 2010 race for
Governor! Independents can change the outcome in November in many hot races
around the state!*
*Call in this Sunday at 7 pm to:*
*712-775-7000*
*then punch in the PIN 130208#*
Note that the Bastrop retreat is on SUNDAY, the day following the close of
the Democratic convention where over 20,000 people are expected. Volunteers
are needed at the Indy Texans booth! WANNA HELP?. *Send a note immediately
to us at* *l**jcurtis at indytexans.org* <http://ljcurtis@indytexans.org>! We
need to get you on the list to get in!
Below is a list of speakers (and housing options) and topics for the Bastrop
retreat. Note three new distinguished presenters, David Van Os, David
Schraub and Jere Locke! Seating is limited. To reserve, send a note to Marie
