If you carry this Resolution to your Precinct Convention on March 4th, please make  3 copies to turn in at the beginning of the proceedings and some additional copies to hand out to attendees which helps facilitate reading and consideration.

 Adopted / Not Adopted  (circle one)   by PRECINCT_____,SENATE DISTRICT_____  RESOLUTION TO IMPEACH VICE PRESIDENT RICHARD CHENEY WHEREAS, House Resolution799(H.Res.799) has been introduced on the floor of the US House of Representatives with 23 sponsors (with more continuing to sign on) and is in the Judiciary Committee; and WHEREAS H.Res.799 lays out some but not all of the offenses of the Vice President, including: * Purposely manipulating intelligence to fabricate a threat of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction in order to justify an attack on Iraq * Deceiving Congress about an alleged relationship between Iraq and al-Qaeda * Threatening aggression against the Republic of Iran, without any real threat to the United States * Contemptiously violating his oath of office to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution"; and WHEREAS Article II, Section 4 of the US Constitution provides impeachment as an orderly way to stop abuse of power by executive officers;   THEREFORE, we citizens and residents of Precinct_____of_____________County in the state of Texas do hereby instruct our elected members of the U.S House or Representatives (with the encouragement of the Democratic Party of Texas) to support H.Res799, which calls for impeaching Richard Cheney.
