[Voterescue] THANK YOU, and VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!

 Hi VoteRescuers! THANKS  to all of you who attended our meeting last
Tuesday and to those of you who signed up to be Exit Pollsters for March
4th!  We will have THREE trainings in February on how to be an Exit
Pollster - you need only attend ONE of these to volunteer on Primary Day:
Tuesday, February 19,  Brave New Books, 1904 Guadalupe, 7 - 9pm - Our
regular meeting (short), plus Exit Poll training  Saturday,
February 23rd, time & place TBA (probably in the afternoon) for 1 1/2
hours.  Will meet NORTH Tuesday, February 26, 7-8:30 pm:  209 E. Ben
White #201, office of Domain Subsidies/IndyTexans (thanks, Linda and Lee)
Exit Polling training is fast, and the process if fun, easy and
empowering!  Please mark the above training dates on your calendars, and
we will announce the location of the 2nd training asap - (it may be at
the U. of Phoenix campus by Braker & Metric, not sure - thanks Esteban!)
ALSO:  VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY! Voterescuer Sue Ann Campbell, who is
President of the Producer's Council at the Public Access TV Station, has
asked VoteRescue's help to monitorthe annual election of Producer's
Council Members which takes place at their studio at 1143 Northwestern,
off Rosedale/East 11th St. This would involve a simple monitoring
activity of  about 4 hours sometime between 8:30 am through 9:00 pm, to
help PAC hold a hand-counted paper ballot election with the added
integrity of having VoteRescue as election monitors.  This will be our
second year to help PAC with this process, and it is an honor to be
asked. We can still use more volunteers!  Please contact me if you can
