This week, Sunday October 28th , 2-4pm Central time, on "VoteRescue
Radio - Where Citizens Count, One Vote at a Time", our special guest will
be Paul Lehto, election law attorney. The show can be heard on the radio
in the Austin area at 90.1 FM; is streaming live on www.wtprn.com (for
"We the People Radio Network"), AND, can be heard OVER THE PHONE at
512/485-9010! Paul R Lehto is an Everett, Washington based business law
and consumer fraud litigation attorney who has spent the bulk of his time
since 2004 on issues regarding elections and democracy. After being an
attorney observer during the 2004 elections, Lehto co-authored with Dr.
Jeffrey Hoffman a groundbreaking study of touch screens and paper ballots
side by side in his home of Snohomish County, Washington that included
isolating by serial number machines that switched votes or froze up, and
showing that those machines showed huge discrepancies in favor of one
party in the nation's closest governor's race in 2004 (settled by an
election contest and 129 votes, statewide). Lehto writes and speaks
frequently on election law and politics, and has litigated his own case
in the state of Washington to invalidate the purchase contract for the
touch screens and obtain a refund for the county; he has appeared along
with local counsel in other states such as Kentucky to litigate election
contests and other issues on behalf of both Democratic and Republican
primary candidates with no confidence in the electronic machines. He is
an outspoken advocate who "calls a spade a spade", and says that there is
no basis in science or otherwise for any confidence in electronic
election results because the votes are counted in secrecy by the
government and/or its chosen contractor. He has appeared on a CD with
Thom Hartmann, on Air America radio, and in videos available on the
internet. Paul has many interesting accounts of election cases in court ~
