Hello out there from Radio Land! This Sunday, December 9th, VoteRescue
Radio, Where Citizens Count---One Vote at a Time - is very honored to
have as our special guest Florida attorney Mark Adams, who has extensive
experience litigating election contest cases including some high profile
cases such as Clint Curtis's challenge of the Florida District
24 Congressional race of 2006. The show will air from 2-4 pm Central
time. OUR additional special guest this week from Wharton County, Texas:
Republican Party Chair Debra Medina will be on with us discussing her
action to NOT use the County-provided ES&S touchscreen machines for the
March 4th Texas primary election due to the November 6th vote-flipping
incident experienced by Wharton County resident Jim Welch (whose
interview on our show is archived from November 18th). Debra will
share the logistical, legal, and financial challenges involved in this
courageous decision Mark A. Adams earned his BA in business
administration and both his law degree and his master of business
administration at the University of Florida where he also worked as a
teaching assistant in the Economics Department. He has practiced law in
Florida. In 2006, Mark represented Max Linn, the Reform Party candidate
for Governor of Florida, in successful lawsuits brought against the media
to require his inclusion in the Gubernatorial debates. Mark also
represented John Russell, Clint Curtis, Frank Gonzalez, and others in
contesting the official results of the 2006 elections in Florida state
court and before the U.S. House of Representatives.
Mark has been involved in the judicial reform movement since 2003, the
media reform movement since 2004, and the election reform movement since
2006. Before those years, he believed that judges followed the law, that
our media told us the truth, and that our votes were counted.
Unfortunately, Mark, like many of us, learned that these beliefs were no
longer true. However, Mark believes that we can counteract the forces
which have destroyed these institutions if we face reality, learn what
our government leaders are actually doing, and take action before it is
too late. He believes that, to preserve the American dream, the people
must be able to vote ineffective or corrupt leaders out of office and
that judges who ignore the law must face repercussions.
These should both be exciting and informative interviews ---DON'T MISS
THEM!
