Dear VoteRescuers, One of our members, Mitchell Stein, is putting
together an effort to collect affidavits from Ron Paul voters during the
upcoming primary election on March 4th. This is an excellent way of
tracking real support for a candidate and we support all candidates
having the same thing done for them, if their supporters would organize
it. For any of you who are Ron Paul supporters, we wanted you to have
this information in case you would like to help with this upcoming
effort. VoteRescue will be conducting Exit Polls again for the primary,
as a non-partisan monitoring effort, and we hope to have the continued
support and volunteer help with that action, as well. As we get closer
to that date, you will see and hear announcements on that from
us,including new dates for Exit Poll training. We are about to meet with
the Secretary of State of Texas, and we will be writing up a report on
that meeting next week. We are asking that he decertify and permanently
ban all electronic voting in our state. We dropped off a notebook full
of evidence on the machines for him last week, as well as a copy of
"HACKED!" and the DVD, "Hacking Democracy", and had a very cordial 1+
hour meeting with the Director of Elections for the state, Ann McGeehan,
about these issues at that time, as well as the Secretary's General
Counsel, Jay Dyer. Hope you are all having a peaceful holiday season.
Vickie (and Karen)
