To Count or Not to Count
by Lee LeTeff
When machines count, people don't!
When people count,
computers reprogramming elections won't.
Our election process erodes away
as machine manufacturers sell our votes
to the highest bidder of the day.
The Help America Vote Act did NOT mandate
that everyone vote by computer or machine;
But in this way, they forced us to
spend millions from an economy lean.
We lose our government of the people
and plant a disaster seed,
and now our country is run by ruinous greed.
Let us a fervent campaign mount
where machines don't and people do count!
