VoteRescuers: Several of us will be attending this Public Comment Hearing on the Hart Voting Systems for the purposes of presenting anti-Hart comments into the record for the Secretary of State's Division of Elections. This information will be videotaped and is supposed to be presented to the Secretary of State before he makes his final decision on whether or not to certify (or recertify) a voting system.

Thanks to the amazing "watchdog" skills of Camille Perry, one of our longtime supporters, I was made aware that on this coming Monday, March 31, 2008, there will be a court proceeding (a trial?) having to do with a lawsuit filed nearly 2 years ago against the TX Secretary of State and the County Clerk of Travis County. MASSIVE BALLOT-RIGGING TECHNIQUE?
The video listed below provides bits of the backstory for our discovery of a potentially devastating method of rigging MAIL IN VOTES, AUDITS and RECOUNTS. Black Box Voting is currently doing proof of concept testing on our "Theory of a crime" and will release details next week on how it's done, so that preventive measures can be put in before November. We'll see how the ballots and the special "optical scan marking pens" being sold by vendors actually perform in our tests. Any information you can provide on the specific paper stock and especially, the paper coatings used by ballot printers will be much appreciated right now.

The Butch & Hoppy Chase begins with Susan Pynchon and Bev Harris's initial foray into the field following a ballot transport van. This video raises questions, many of which will be answered in subsequent Election Reality TV videos. Some answers will be troubling and will spur reforms.

The March 9, 2008 (Draft) Comparisons of "Travis County, TX Election Administrator Results" with the "Project Vote Count Citizen Exit Poll Affidavit Results" for the Texas Primaries held on March 4, 2008 for the Travis County Precincts 236, 309 and 426.
All three comparison charts, the "General Notes" and the "Analysis Considerations" have been provided by Mitchell Stein to whom we owe our sincere thanks and great appreciation for the extensive time and effort he contributed to present this information to the public. We will be discussing these precinct comparisons, as well as, comparisons of the two precincts also exit polled in Williamson County, at our next monthly meeting in Austin at 7pm on March 18, Brave New Books.

Volunteers who worked the Jester Center caucus on Tuesday are suspicious of at least one of the caucus lists, the precinct chairman said late Thursday night. At least three students who signed the list verified that the candidates attached to their names were not the candidates they voted for.

It was INCREDIBLE. The message that nearly all voters gave to our extraordinary exit poll volunteers yesterday was:
"Yes! I will participate in your exit poll and I will sign the affidavit.
I am concerned that my vote is counted in secret.
And, THANK YOU for all the work VoteRescue and Texans for REAL Elections
is doing to get the message out that we must change the way our votes are being
counted—or not being counted."
